Default Catalog avi file

Hi,

I had a program a couple of years ago, (and have lost it) that would read an avi file and when there was a dramatic change in the scene it would save a frame. This way I had a 'Catalog' of images of what was on the avi file without having to view the entire file.
Does anyone know of a similar program or anything else that may do the same thing.

Thanks
Paj.
