Default Export video to camera in high quality for TV

For frist time I exported my video I edited onto my camera. I looked at the video. It was in bad quality, I thought maybe it was because I needed to export it in a different format. I have Sony vegas Video and Adobe Primiere. Can someone give me some tips and etc fo making it a good quality fo a big TV.

Are you exporting back to your DV camcorder? Please explain the "exact" settings you are using to export.

it really depends on what kind of a camera you have... i only export to my camera if im just making a simple tape, and i dont record onto my camera, i just send it through my camera to the VCR and record. You might want to mess with export settings or something like that... and btw, does anyone know if premier 6 exports straight to VCR somehow? i.e. 3 prong to 3 prong? (there is a little bit of quality [sound] loss when going through camera) thanks all
