I have a video with (unlinked) audio in it, and whenever I export it as a .avi, there's no sound, but when I export it as a .mov, there is sound. What's going on @_@

I have had a similar problem and cannot explain why it happens. The way I got round it is using Adobe Audition (or similar audio editing program if you dont have it) and imported the original sound track into that and then exported it as an MP3.

I then went back into Premiere Pro and imported the original AVI file, locked the video track, removed the original audio track, imported the new MP3 and placed where the original once laid.

I would then export the whole thing as an AVI and it worked!!

When you play back the video in Premiere can you hear the audio playing? Is the little speaker icon visible on the audio track(s)? Click on the drop down arrow on the audio track and check to see if the audio wave form is visible in graphic form. When you go to export your movie click on the Setting button and make sure Export Audio is ticked.
