Thread: Why should I use Premiere over Vegas?

We have two pieces of software here at work and I have to choose between Adobe Premiere and Sony Vegas 6.0.
I'm looking for someone to sell the virtues of Premiere to me, because my first impression of it is not positive. It takes way too long to render compared with Vegas, and you've even got to render the preview window.:s

I must admit I am used to Vegas, but can anyone persuade me to drop it in favour of Premier?

Any comments?

If you used sony vegas usually, i don't think you'll be able to switch to premiere and do it as good as in vegas. Unless your good at both programs.
I'll say, stick with what you have and good at.
