Default Audio Problem

Hello

Im using PP2 and audio is something I understand very little about...but here is my problem.

I filmed an interview recently. Most of the audio is fine, but one section of it is only audible through one speaker! I recorded the interview in three different sections, but Im positive that each time I recorded in exactly the same way.
I recorded the audio directly onto the DV tape through the camera, using and external mic.
Any ideas why this may have happened, and is there any way at all of repairing it?

Thanks

It sounds as if the audio is mono when you want it stereo. Check your settigns and put all audio to stereo. Check the panning in the sound mixer.

i dont use pp2 but I would imagine there is an option in the audio effects called 'fill right' or fill 'left'.. - use one of these (depending on what channel is silent) and that should make the audio come out of both speakers.. - but in will be mono..
