| | Premiere, problem with Xvid im kind of new to video editing, im more of an audio editing person. However, im trying to edit a concert video for my band on Adobe Premiere Pro. I converted the DVD to Xvid, because i knew this was good video quality, and then i tried importing it into Premiere, and it imported and everything, but all i could get was it to play the audio. If i use any format but Xvid it works, and i dont really want to convert the dvds all over again because it takes a long ass time. Im kind of new to this like i said, i was just wondering if there is some plug in or somthing that will make Premiere work with Xvid.
thanks for the help |

| | Premiere is a DV editor, so ideally the format should be DV-AVI (very large file sizes) Virtualdub can convert Xvid.
Have you tried Xvid in windows movie maker?
A bit basic, but good cut editing with titles, effects and audio overlay is possible.
