Default Making something look like it was filmed from the TV.

Any ideas how I can make a piece of a video look like it was filmed from the TV? I have a 'news piece' I'm inserting into a movie, and I want to make it look like it's been filmed from the TV. I will probably just put it on a DVD and play it on the TV and film that, but I was wondering if there was a way to get an effect like this (I'm using Elements 1). I've done a greenish tint over the whole thing and pixelated the items a bit, which is OK, but wondering if anyone had a better idea?

Thanks!

My editor, vegas, has a tv simulator plug in, not got that on your editor?

If not, try playing with colour saturation / curves. Add some blur and maybe some noise.
