Default help with .asf files.

is there anyway to get premiere to open these media files or do i have to convert them to another format.

ok, i seemed to find a answer, wether its the right one, i don't know. i found a couple convertors from asf to wmv but am i on the right track.

sorry, i guess this is one of those questions that is a noob boober. sorry for the trouble i did a search and read for myself... thanks
