Default Premier pro 1.5 High def editing

Hi guys

I have the sony fx1 video camera and I indend shoot everthing in the high definition format. My edit suit has just been upgraded to premier 1.5 and I can only see a setting for Panasonic 24p with a resolution of 720x576. This is not true high definition, so is 1.5 compatable with the Sony FX1 or will it downgrade the resolution?

thanks
John H

There used to be a free download on the Adobe site for the HiDef editing plugin. Think it was from Main Concept

Yep. 1.5 is not high def compatible. you need the freebie upgrade to 1.5.1.
