Hi,

Can someone explain the encoding process from AVI to DVD.

I have created an AVI file 7.39GB which is approx 35 mins of footage.

I encoded it to DVD format VOB and it converted it to a total of 5.85GB.

What I want to know is the best way of converting the AVI to DVD and why is 35 mins greater then 4.4GB.
A 90 min movie fits onto 1 DVD yet I can't fit 35 mins?

Please help
