Thread: Hey guys

What's up!

I'm pretty new here (and at film editing) as i'v been into photography and just now stepping up to the video camera. I'm working on a movie right now (ferrari short film street racing) kind of film and just got Adobe. It looks awesome so far but i was wondering if someone could help me out a bit

First of all i was wondering if i can capture a picture and make the picture show for 3 to 5 seconds?

And well i guess thats my only question haha

hya, I' pretty new around here myself but I can give you a hand...
Yes, you can make a picture last for as long as you want. I'm assuming that you're not using a frame from a video, so import the pic you want. If you are using a frame, then just copy and paste. If you're aiming for a still shot in the middle of the video, just razor it where the frame is (comand razor at edit line). afterwards, it's quite easy to do, just drag and drop the picture you want into a video channel in the timeline, select it and drag one of the edge as much as you want. The other way is to go right click o the picture in the timeline and choose duration. Input the duration of the pic and you're done.
Simple as that.
