Sorry - that wasn't very clear. Basically I think I've filmed with only the left channel recording sound from an xlr mic. When the footage is captured there is only sound in the left channel. I need to somehow duplicate the left into the right sound channel. cheersy!!!!!!![]()

I exported the sound as a single audio track, then replaced all the audio with 2 copies of this 'single track audio'. I then used 'swap channel' on one of them and tinkered with the levels abit.![]()

Sounds like you have a mono mic. There are audio filters in Premiere called "fill left" and "fill right". If you drop both these onto an mono audio track, sound will come through both speakers.

I dropped the 'fill left' filter onto the left mono channel of a video recently and it put the audio onto the right channel (hmmm, that's strange, I could have sworn the 'fill right' filter would have worked saying as the left channel audio was already present).
You have to drop both the fill left and the fill right onto the track.
