Default News Broadcast

I am trying to make a news broadcast for my spanish class. What I need/am trying to do is make it look like a professional cable news broadcast. Is there an easy way to integrate the bottom bar seen in the news like the one here ? Also...the news graphical transisition when it switches to a on site scene. If theres any links you guys have on making a professional looking news broad cast please help. Also any sites that have "stocks" for video/news broadcasts. Thanks alot

If you have access to Photoshop, you can create the graphic there, then make the background a solid colour, then chroma key it. If not you could probably just do it in Paint. As for the transition, it would probably take a motion graphics program like After Effects so I reccomend going the stock footage route.
