Does anyone know how to create a zooming in effect on a subject but the background zooms out at the same time.?
Thanks in advance John

im just guessing this is what you want but here goes.
First you need 2 layers, one of the background and one of the subject.
You keyframe the background size to srink and you keyframe the forground to grow.
Depending on what your doing it might require you to either use photoshop to cut out the person into there own layer.
Or if your using video, to visbily paint green around the person via photoshop in FLM format then greenscreen the green out giving you a forground layer of the person.
Then just do what i said about growing and shrinking the 2 layers

Sound very much like the hitchcock-zoom effect (aka contra-zoom). This can be achieved "in-camera" by zooming on the subject as the camera is moved backwards on a dolly. Search the forums for contra zoom.

You still stuggling with this? I created this a couple of weeks ago as a test. http://www.alandmills.co.uk/ContraZoom.pdf
PM me if you want details on how I did it.
