I downloaded an AVI file from the internet and wanted to use Elements to burn it to DVD. BUT... when I import the avi file into Elements it is imported as an audio file only and the video is not available. what's happened and can I resolve this?

That is most likely a Divx File, or something to the equiv...... Premiere elements (as ive been told) is a bit picky on filetypes, but if you have to codec installed on your pc, then you should be able to import somehow, or convert...
