Hmmmm, that program says I have 2 Gig of System Memory. I wish I did, but I only have 1 Gig not 2. It says I have 4-512 meg modules, but I have 4-256 meg modules.

Oh well!

Yes, I know that! I was just saying it was funny it says I have 2 gig when I only have 1 gig of memory. I "WISH" I did have 2 gig of memory.

ALL P4 CPU's support SSE2 instructions. Even the old ones! (see link below) Your warning should be for the older AMD CPU's because they don't support SSE2 instructions they only supported SSE instructions.

Read this:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pentium_4
(scroll down to chart)
I have Willamette core (an old CPU) and it supports SSE2 Instructions also, so it's not just Northwood and above. But that is OK by me anyways as I will be upgrading to a AMD X2 or a AMD FX-60 Dual Core soon anyways.

Here's what it says on Adobe's site about this:
SSE2-enabled processor required for AMD systems
http://www.adobe.com/products/premiere/systemreqs.html
It's not required for P4 Systems because all of them already have the SSE2 instructions.

See also: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SSE2

CPUs which support SSE2
AMD Opteron
AMD Athlon 64
AMD Sempron (Socket 754 versions only)
AMD Turion 64
Intel Pentium 4
Intel Pentium D
Intel Pentium EE
Intel Pentium M
Intel Celeron D

Notable CPUs which do not support SSE2
AMD Athlon
AMD Athlon XP
Intel Pentium III
Intel Itanium
Intel Itanium 2

yeah what he said, but keep in mind just because older cpu's support it doesnt meen you should. The new versions are much more intensive.

Just because you can run it on a 1.4 p4 doesnt mean its productive. lol

But yeah he listed the cpu's much better. you get 3 gold stars and half a silver star
