Default Using an svid preview monitor

I have an x1800xt graphics card (2 dvi outs, and a vivo(vivo is an svid in and out)) and i was wondering in premiere if i can set my tv to be a preview monitor using the svid port?

No but if your cam has dv out you can go straight out of your firewire port into you camera then S-video out to your tv.

i know i could do that way, but i dont like it, because i have to have my cam on all the time, i guess i could just bear it...... thanks though!

You should be able to have it in standby mode whilst it's in use.
