how do u get to the motion settings for titles with premiere pro like in premiere 6.5 where u could set the patb of the title

By 'path' I presume you want to set it as a roll or crawl.
Open the titler in PPro. the still/roll/crawl selector is top left of the window. if you want the roll/crawl to start off screen then click the little icon just tothe right of the selector. It's the first or second icon next to the type selector.
