Default Importing problmes in Premiere.

Hi,
I've never had problems importing files in Adobe Premiere before, but lately I've been having a hard time with it.
It just sais "Importing files" with a progress bar that's showing no progress at all.

The thing is, when I try importing older files that is on my disk, it works fine. I figured out that the only files that gives me problems are files that are transfered from my camera to the computer using Windows Movie Maker. I kinda like the way Movie Maker handles that, so I've been using that the last couple of times.

Has anyone else had problems imporing files created by Movie Maker into Adobe Premiere?

Thanks!

Thanks for helping, Marc!
I'm checking it out now.. takes a while though. Crappy computer

Edit: seems to be working, thanks again!
Only thing is, this guy is right:

Quote:
WARNING! Apparently this tool will only work properly for files less than 4GB in size. deoxymoron noted an audio problem "near the end of the file";apparently the problem is a 4GB file size problem. Following the 4GB mark (approximately 18:52 at full D1 resolution for me) the audio turns to hash (a loud hiss). This happens with no warning or errors generated, so you will think all is OK. If you only listen to the first few minutes of the converted AVI, you will think all is OK.

If you are working with small files, it works fine, but be warned! This bit me on several large captures.
But since I'm not using the sound anyway I don't care
