| | photoshop to premiere
what do i save a graphice as on photoshop so it is able to be used as a title type overlay in premiere and does it work in photohshop if i make the background transparecy

Save your work as a photoshop file .PSD, that way you can import the photo as one picture or just a layer from it.
Dont save your work as .jpg unless you are really REALLY in need of the space your gonna save by using a compressive format like .jpg
Premier is fully compatible with pictures from Photoshop so dont be afraid to have transparent backgrounds in your picture.

Thats all true. But if you want to export as .GIF files. I have to admn i use PSDs beacuse as washburn said you can have a selction of layers.

would final cut be compatible to with .psd, because i have got photoshop for pc and final cut for mac. is there any way to get these to working together?
