Im sure this has been asked before, but i'll ask incase it hasnt.
I got me a tripod for christmas, and would be interested to learn how to clone myself or others, so they could possibly interact with each other in the same shot. If someone could be kind enough to shed some light on how to make this possible, i would most appriciate it.
thanks

It depends on how sophisticated you want to go? You could start off with a split screen with you say sitting at a table interacting with 'yourself'. You'll definitely need some kind of script or story board so your actions and reactions are in time with your other self and vice versa so it does need some planning. What editing or compositing software do you own or have access to?

i have Adobe Premiere and After Effects. I am going to be makin a zombie spoof film soon, and have been doing muzzle shot tests *which i can post as they went really well i feel*, and ideally i would want to duplicate the amount of zombies i have to make it seem there were more of them. The type of shot i am looking to achieve is like what Marc did in his GENIUS piece of video footage. If i start with the basics, then over time, i can try harder to get more complex shots. Can anyone help me?

Have you a script worked out for your film? Have you things like actors, locations, permissions to film on other peoples properties etc? What stage are you at exactly in your production?

OK.
First rule DO NOT move you're tripod once you have it in the right persission. Then you just have to record twice with gaps for each person to speak. Then capture both. Sync them and layerthem together.

poor mans way = Splitscreen / laying
Pro way = blue screen
But like they said you better plan out the scene either way otherwise its not gonnna come out good
