Thread: Sound not working at all.

Well. I got a new sound card ( Creative soundblaster exterior) and NO audio seems to be apearing. This is a USB sound card. It worked with my old internal sound card in the same project and infact when i do a error in adobe the normal windows beeps come up. Im just confused what it could be .

Playback Settings > Untick "Play Video on DV Hardware".

No..All is in order I checked that.

Have you got one or two sound cards connected to your computer at present? (slightly confused). Are one or both of them showing up in the audio hardware choices? Are either of them showing conflicts? Latest drivers installed for one or both of them? Is the power from the usb port powerful enough to run the external sound card?

There is two sound cards installed. One which came with my PC and one i got for xmas. The USB sound card has external power. All have all drivers. I was capturing something earlyer and it was working then.

Are both of your soundcards showing up in the device manager and video editing software?
