I just gone from Pinnacle to Premier elements 2.0. Frustration with Pinnacle sent me down this path !!!!. I find elements good to use.
One thing I have noticed is the quality of the finished DVD does not seem as good as Pinnacle, even with quality slider set at high.
I am missing anything ??? a friend of mine suggested doing the capture using pinnacle and build the movie with elements.
Any help please

Your friend's suggestion wouldn't work. It's the final output to DVD (MPEG) that's causing the difference in quality, not the original DV transfer.
For the best quality, ensure you are using a two-pass variable bitrate setting.
