Default Major Flickering problem with 6.5

OK,
I've got a major problem. I'm away from my studio filming an expedition for 9 months and It's come time to get the pilot for my show the the networks. Ive been holed up in a hotel room in rio for a week and finally finished my pilot. Im using premier 6.5 on a laptop, a brand new one, not sure the speed and whatnot but its got 512k of ram.

anyway, all my clips that have had the speed increased are jittery. ive tried changing which field is first, ive tried deinterlacing, ive tried flicker removal, i dont know what to do. it makes my work look very unprofessional, and thats no good. please help.

I am having the same problem too... it is VERY frustrating... I've been looking around the net trying to figure out what is wrong...

The sound flickers.. so does the Video...

My computer specs:

2.4 GHz
512 MB of Ram
Intel Pentium 4
GeForce4 Ti 4200 Video Card...

Thank you to anyone that can help me out!! :(

is the flickering when you're previewing in the programme itself? or after you've exported?

i often get various "faults" before I've exported - or rendered - which are fixed upon actually rendering.

don't know if that helps.
