Default Display Titles on a small area only

hi there! i'm a new user of premiere pro 1.5, and was wondering if you guys can help me with titles. i know how to use them, but the problem is, i want the titles to just show on a certain part of the screen. the red circle on the image below is the spot where i want the title to appear. also, is there anyway to make the edges blushy?

i hope somebody can help me on this, thanks!

Recreate the image you posted, but use black instead of red. Import this, and drop on the track above your video. Turn off the video track by clicking the eye on the far left of the track on the timeline.

Now go into the teh video effects and open the keying folder. Drop the track matte onto the video on your timeline (the one below the image you just placed). Now go into the settings for this effect and change the video track to the one with the image and the the keying to Luma.

All that is from memory, so apologies if it's not clear.
