Hi

My camera doesn’t have that option but i had the Z1 for a while maybe i read it wrong but i thought the Z1 had 24P but after reading it again its not classed as true 24P but instead it tries to give a film look feel to the footage by recording in CineFrame24 60 frames interlaced, the Z1 can record in PAL or NTSC.

Thanks

Further to a previous reply, if you are looking to spend less money, then when you register prem pro with Adobe you can download the free Magic Bullet Movie Looks library. This contains something like 10 filters. You can buy something like 50 extra for about £30. I did this and use some of them a lot. Whether you'll get the film-look you are after is a whole different ball game. As people have alluded to, it is a lot more complicated than simply applying a filter. It's free though, so give it a go.

If your after the soft look of film rather than the grain. You could apply some diffusion or guassian blur to a top layer and change the opacity.

for the record, these freebie MB looks are effectively version 1 of MB and so cannot be applied to any high def video. I think the res limit is 1k x 1k off hand.

They are most definitely worth playing with though. Great value for money

Do you have a registered copy of Adobe Premiere Pro?

I find that in After Effects, you can duplicate the layer and set the blend mode to overlay, and depending on the footage, can sometimes come up with a godd resuslt. However I'm not sure if this is possible in Adobe Premier.

Peace

Ok, I'll put this another way: did you purchase your copy?
