Hi Obiwan

Whenever you get 'choppy' video, would you supply the forum with the spec of your computer to see if you have enough Ram Memory (recommend 512MB), is your processor fast enough (recommend 2.6ghz upwards) and when was the last time your hard disk was defragmented. You have to defrag more often when you start working with video files. And yes, I know I go on and on about the rate data is transferred between the various 'departments' in a computer but the Front Side Bus (I intend looking up the actual definition of that someday) should be (personally speaking 800mhz).

Am I correct in saying that Windows XP needs 128MB Ram to run 'comfortably' in? Please let me now if this is right or wrong. If it is correct and lets say you are using system memory for your graphic display aswell and running background processes then it doesn't take long to eat into 256MB Ram.

Hi Nikosony, thanks for the reply.
I believe that i am going to have to upgrade somewhat on the ram.
Perhaps even fork out for a second hard drive too.
Still new to all this and still learning.
Thanks for the tips though.
