Default niggling prem audio question (Prob being Stupid!)

Hi guys...

Im sure this will sound like a stupid question but Im going to ask it anyway...

Easiest way is prob to give an example...

Say I have 3 video tracks and three audio tracks.... sometimes when I drop a clip on the timeline it creates a 4th audio track...(I cannot reposition it to track 1,2 or 3)

This only happens with certain clips and I cant figure out why? it isnt really important, just annoying any tips would be appreciated... cheers!

Probably because the audio sample rate is different

I also think it does some funny things like this when you place stereo on a mono track and vice versa too.
