quite new to this game, mastered most of the basics of premiere pro but after filming one event with two different cameras cannot use both lots of footage together as colour is much too different, i am sure this can be done in after effects, any help much appreciated

Premier is pretty good for this too (although I think after effects is better...)

My suggestion would be to google "colour correction tutorial" or similair and Im sure you'll find some helpful info...
