Default Is Premiere right for me?

I'm new here, and not very fluent in video editing software, so please bear with me.

I'm looking for a program which can easily combine files, split files, burn to dvd, import and export mpeg 4, and be able to handle large files (as in 20 gig files, looking to work with 12 hour vidoes). I would like something that can accomplish everything in one package, price not being an issue.

Will premiere do everything, or does anyone have any other suggestions.

thanks
