Default How to Slow video

Hi, ive nearly learnt everything i need to know except how to slow the video down. Basically ive got a skydive vid that was made for me last year and when i jump out of the plane the video stops then rewinds in slow motion and shows the jump again but this time in slow motion. Ive also seen vids of people laughing ha ha ha and then having the clip done in slow motion haaaaa haaaaa haaaaa making the person have a deep dirty laugh. ideally i want to do this manually instead of just setting the speed of a clip to 50% speed - for example you can alter the sound volume manually up and down constantly when previewing a clip and the changes are saved automatically. I can get the effect i want using the shuttle button when the clip is playing also but it doesnt save the speed alterations to the clip. Is it possible without having any expensive hardware ? BTW im using premier pro

There is a plugin for premiere called Twixtor and I think that might be what you're looking for.

(It has been mentioned before here: http://www.videoforums.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=5446 )

Sorry Luke but you can't ramp speed in premiere Pro without a plugin like Twixtor. You're probably thinking of After Effects whcih can. cheers
