I have 4gig MPEG-2 file that I converted in AVI to work in Premier Pro 1.5. The problem whenever I take parts into sequence I don't have any previews! Also, when export to any format, I don't get any video or audio. ... what's the problem here?
Also, is there any guide to working with large files in Premiere?

Sounds more likely that you don't have the right codec to edit the AVI file you have created rather than it being a problem witgh large files.

Any suggestion for a software/codec type for avi to use in Premier?
