WHen rendered, movies have skips ...

Hi

All the movies I make, even the shortest of short, have skips in the clips, where the frame holds, or it skips several frames. Its annoyingf because i have to delete the imported vid, recapture (using another program) and hope that fixes the problem. ANy idea?
