| | common movie effect It seems in a lot of movies there are scenes (usually action scenes) where there is a strange look. I can't really pin point what it it. Maybe it's the frame rate is a little faster than normal. I'm not sure. The first time I saw it was in the gladiator, 28 days had it also. It is very common in movies now. I'm sorry if no one really understands what I'm talking about. It's hard to explain. If anyone has a clue, I would appreciate any help in achieving this effect. |

| | Why don't you screen grab the scene and post it so we'll know what you are talking about.
Or if you can tell us the exact scene then maybe we can watch a rerun of gladiator tonight. |

| | I think I understand what you're talking about, though I wouldn't know how to achieve it. It's almost a jittery, choppy effect, but done quickly. Almost like the camera buzzes or something (sheesh, it is hard to explain). |

It's usually during a fight scene, or a chase scene. It is so hard to explain. I just saw something similiar in the movie "Ray" this morning where he was going through detox. I've seen it in some horror movies too. |
