Default Mixing still photos,text and video in turn

Sorry if this is a simple and easy question.I'm just a very very newbie in this editing world.

Can someone give a guidance how can I mix it in turn? I'm using premiere and ulead.

what do you mean like havve them on the screen at diffrant times or....all on screen at same time?

Maybe I can make some text fade in and out,then some still pictures come in and out before the video come in.

Let's say if I want to make a documentary video,I take some pictures from the childhood before I shoot some present moment.

Well, premiere does not have a 'text' type of asset. What you can do though is create a graphic (jpg, psd, etc) with text on it or just create a 'title' (.prtl file?) using the builtin titler.

If you use the titler then once created the saved title will already be auto imported as a project asset. Import your graphic files.

Once you have these things in your asset list then just drag and drop them on the timeline as you would a video clip. create transitions between them as you would any video clip.

The trick is that once imported they can be treated just like a video clip.
