hi guys
My current project has 2 short sections of black video, with some audio.
The exported avi file plays no problem.
When I encode to DVD (VOB files), the black video sections seem to stick and wont play the audio smoothly.
What is the cause of this, anyone??....

Not sure if or why it might make a differnce but did you use a black video clip (created dynamically from within Premiere. Sorry I can't remember the path but it's under the 'New' menu option) on your timeline or just leave the timeline empty for those 'black' spots?
Did you encode VBR or CBR?

i have tried both! I have used the black video provided by premiere pro, and also tried just leaving gaps in the timeline instead. Both with the same problem.
As for VBR and CBR.....Im afraid Im a newbie, and have no idea what these are!?? Can you fill me in please? |

Variable bit rate and constant bit rate. These are export settings. Might be worth having a play with. You'll have more control over these settings in Premiere than in Encore so I tend to do my MPEG2 encoding from Premiere.
basically though, I don't know what might actually cause the problem. I'm just trying to think of ideas.
