Default blocky text in after effects

i have done a text crawl like starwars but when it renders its really blocky
any ideas

i followed this tutorial to the tee

if you can render off a sample of what you did and let us see whats happening it would be more helpful

the file is huge, and its only a 1.30 video

ok bring it into windows movie maker - selestc "save movie" to my computer then select for broadband - yuo should get a nice small file then

Right,

Try I think your text is to small and hence its pixilating. If you are running AFX 6 or higher you should be able to create a text layer with in after fx.

If not then create a photoshop document with the text on one layer but make the canvas alot larger than the afx document.

If no photoshop then create an image with a transparent background with the text on it.

When rendering the afx piece make sure all your settings are on best. If your main video project is 25fps make sure afx is set the same.
Follow these and it should work out nicely

Also, don't you think the text falls back at too acute an angle? The tilt (or swivel) is just a tad too much. Like reading a book at horizontal level, even clear text becomes unreadable before it's moved even half way.

Altering that oblique angle will improve sharpness, and hence readability. I've always thought it's far easier to do this in Premiere than AE.

tried that but it disapears to quick of the screen
i want it to look like it keeps going

i am not sure what size to make the text
i just followed the tutotrial
