Ms. Divine
Default Exporting timeline or exporting movie clip- which is better

I have just completed my video project and plan on transferring this footage back to my camcorder.
I would like to know if there is a difference if I were to
a) Export Timeline to Tape
OR
b) Save it as a digital movie avi form and then export clip to the tape.

Is there a difference?
