exporting to dvd on premiere pro a widescreen movie

hey guys,
my first time doing this widescreen thing.
i took a whole movie with 16:9 camera, and captured everything on my premiere pro (also, widescreen option).
now, when i am exporting to dvd (using the built in recoreder in the pro) the video is streching like a 4:3 ratio.
what can i do to fix it?
