Default Premier Pro export help!

Hello, i'm new to the boards,

I'm a rookie in Premier Pro and I wa wondering if someone can help me!

I'm trying to export a movie from Premier Pro 7.0, and I keep getting an error message. The problem is that the rendering of the movie messes up when it gets to a part where I used the "Aged Film" plugin. It seems whenever I use that plugin, it won't let me export!

The error message says "Error Compiling Movie. Unknown Error"

any help would be appreciated!

thanks

How long a slice is the piece using the plug-in? And how long's the finished vid?

You could try rendering out a few clips with the effect applied - then export that alone. If the problem occurs, you know beyond doubt what's causing it.

If not, then render the effect part out to an avi, then add that (instead of the original clips) to the timeline. Just a thought.

Do a google for free old film effects - there are a few of them, I think.

And if you've got a tight deadline, I'd be happy to apply an effect to the video for you.
