Default fpm problem

My intent is to have a short film project transfered to film in the near future. I was just told that to do so I needed to shoot evrything on frame rate 24p (I have an xl1). If I already have lots of scenes with 29p. Can Adobe premiere pro 6 export video to 24? Will my sound get all messed up?

I am entirely confused.
