Ihave been useing premere 6.5 for quite a while with succes .I now find I cannot import files ,Ican import folders with out poblems ,and can capture OK ,I am useing win 98se and my computer is top line.

Most of the times this is due to an absent, wrong or damaged codec. Reinstal all your codecs or optionally get updated codecs.

The klite codec pack works good for me and includes almost all popular codecs.

If you are unable to import your own captured files maybe you should reinstall your video capture card software.
