Default CS4 Multi-camera

Alright, Ive been having problems with this new feature since upgrading to cs4, ive got the clips in a nested sequence, they're syncro'd, multi-camera window is up everything is ready to go, but the problem im facing is the play back of the clips and the program out are too choppy to do anything with, I've tried every type of reasonable format adobe encoder will encode to (eg: mpeg2, mpeg4, H.264 ive tried using different resolutions eg: 1080p,1080i,720p formats)

anyone having any luck using this feature with two HD clips?

random info
Footage was shot in 30p
no effects
sequence has been rendered

my computer specs
Intel Q9550 2.83
8gb ram
ati 5770 1gb

Thanks for reading.

Not sure what you are asking.

You are having trouble with the multi camera interface or is this the final render having done a multi camera edit?

Don;t have any trouble here multi camera-ing HDV captures on a similarly spec'd machine.

The clips are in the multi camera sequence, with multi cam enabled. but when you hit the little record button and press play to start marking your cuts, the play back is very choppy and the edits don't end up in the right spot.

Did you change any of the default settings in premiere? what type of files are you importing into the sequence? because on my machine i can't even get it to playback smoothly.
