Default Previewng Video Transitions in Premiere Pro 1.5

I am hoping someone can tell me if there is a way to preview video transitions in Premiere Pro 1.5 without having to drag the effect to the timeline each time. I know that in previous versions of Premiere there was an option to show animated transition icons, but cannot find a way to do it in this version.

Grateful if for any help.[/b]
