Default MTS and Premiere

Hi.
I have a Canon Hf100 and my problem is that I have to stabilize the clips made with it.
File format is .MTS 1080i 50hz.
I 've tried to use both Final Cut Express and Adobe CS4 Suite but I failed importing the files in Final Cut and I don't know where to find a stabilize filter in premiere…

Can you help me?
Maybe you have suggestions for other software..

Thanks
Giovanni
