Unhappy Is the a REAL FREE AVI to MPG converter?

Hi

I'm looking for a free AVI to MPG convertor. I have downloaded 4 programs this morning claining to be free but they end up being 'trials' or 'watermarked'. I just want a free program to convert my AVI to MPG. Any suggestions?

If it's for a Windows PC, try this: SUPER &copy

Ignore the crappy website, the software is by far the best video converter out there and it IS free.

Handbrake seems to work on most, if not all platforms.

handbrake.fr

Although, iv had some issues with some video that iv rendered from Premiere, haven't worked out why yet.

You could always try VLC, haven't used it much myself though.

If it is for mac then VisualHub is great! It's simple as you want it to be - but also can be tweaked to any preferences
