Default How to pixelate in Adobe Premier Elements 4.0?

Hi all,

Title says it all really. I can't seem to open up the guide on here for pixelating on Premier 4.0.

Is there another link someone can send me? Hope it is straight forward. I have to pixelate people's faces in crowds/large gatherings.

thanks
Ben

Couldn't you use a gaussian blur?

Unfortunately that makes only a fixed portion of the screen pixelated/blurred. What I need to be able to do is track faces on the screen so that they are disguised throughout the clip. CCTV/police type programs do this all the time, hopefully somebody on here knows how do to this either with a special piece of software or within Adobe Premier 4.0 or even Powerdirector 7! lol

Need help on this.

Thanks all

Hi Smifis,

Thank you. No I don't have after effects. Is it cheap? Does work as a stand alone piece of software or is it like and upgrade you add to Premier?

Cheers
Ben

Okay, it seems it costs £1000 for After Effects. I am a little reluctant to say the least. All I want to be able to do is is pixelate somebody's face as they move around. Does anyone know of a cheaper way?

Thanks
