Hi,

I am a complete newbie to masks and I am stuck following a tutorial in subtracting two masks. The problem I am having at the moment is that selecting individual masks is not selecting the object-mask-path instead it is selecting rectangular box.

For example here is a pic:


as you can see the mask color is yellow and upon selection it is showing vertical rectangular box as selection and I have spent hours revising.

It;s because it's a shape and not a mask. You'll need to conmvert it to apath first and I can;t remember how to do that offhand.
