Default 3-monitor setup workspace

I just ordered a 19" monitor for my editing workstation at work. I have a Matrox RT.X2, so I'll be plugging it into that card to be used as a dedicated, real-time preview monitor. I also have dual 24" monitors that I've been using for a while. Just wondering if anyone else has this 3-monitor setup and how they arrange their workspace in Premiere to maximize their monitor real estate. thanks.

I use two 24" monitors. As I have both running at 1920x200 I simply let Premiere max to a single monitor unless I'm doing something that really needs HDV at full res. otherwise I have premiere in one monitor and other windows apps (most especially After Effects) in the other monitor. I find that good enough.

I use the same setup now but I can only display video playback in the primary monitor, so I have to keep AE open under Premiere and flip between the two. All of the other win apps are what I keep in the other monitor.

Smaller than mine ! 6400 x 1200 !

I went to two and it was so much better I got carried away - and yes I do find that much space a boon !

If you aim low its cheap to do. I got 4 identical used crts last year for £100 and a used quad head mtrox for er er 60 quid off ebay.

I have a 3d card for one screen too. It's a cinch in xp to do and set up.
