Default Grouping several layers? (AA)

Hello

I'm using Adobe After Effects and I need to group a bunch of video clips together (like in photoshop) so I am able to group them together as they are within the first bunch of clips.

How am I able to do this?

Regards.

Hi Josh,

After Effects does a LOT of different things. It's pretty accurate, I think, to compare it to photoshop. I'm sure someone on these forums will be able to help, but:

I haven't the slightest idea what you're trying to do. Are you trying to make a "wall" of clips, for example four seperate videos playing simultaneously, each in its own quarter of the screen? Or are you trying to composite clips together, using transparencies, green-screening or other effects?

Please provide more info.

Select the clips you want to group together and press Control + Shift + C which will pre-compose the 4 clips (or however many you need) into a single linked video file which you can then double click on to open up the original timeline of the 4 clips if you need to edit them.
